Welcome To Corinthian Pointe Eye Center

Same doctors and staff, but with a new name. We are now Memorial Eye Center!

At our Southwest Houston office, we take the time to get to know you and your eye care history. Dr. Maxwell Olumba knows that getting the right prescription involves balancing clear eyesight, visual efficiency and your ability to process visual information. Whether you need a routine eye exam, an eyeglasses fitting, treatment for eye disease (such as glaucoma or macular degeneration) or eye surgery (such as LASIK or cataract surgery), our Houston optometrist nearby Missouri City, will provide you with the best care, advice, options, and follow-up.

Rachael McGee, O.D.

About Dr. McGee
Rachael McGee, O.D. received her Doctor of Optometry from the University of the Incarnate Word’s Rosenberg School of Optometry in 2018, and earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana. Dr. McGee is a licensed Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist.

Dr. McGee has always been fascinated with the eyes and how they act as windows to the overall health of the body. She believes so much can be learned about a patient’s physical health by looking into their eyes. She chose a career in optometry to diagnose and treat the visual needs of the community and care for both of her parents who were diagnosed with ocular diseases.

Dr. McGee loves interacting with her patients and building personal relationships to learn more about their lives. She finds great satisfaction in correcting her patients’ eyesight and making their daily lives a little easier. She also takes pride in educating patients about their eyesight and how their eyes “work”. Through this education, Dr. McGee enjoys helping her patients understand how their glasses help to correct their vision and the importance that their overall health has on their eyes.

Dr. McGee resides in Lake Jackson, Texas, with her husband, a fellow optometrist, whom she met while in school together. In her free time away from the office, Dr. McGee enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends, and playing with her mini-Aussie puppy. She also finds time for outdoor activities and traveling.

We are committed to serving you safely, and we are thrilled to provide a safe, clean and trustworthy home for your vision health needs. Indeed, it’s good to see you again. Click the link to view our new safety protocols and important information to prepare for your visit.
